Harrie Hogan has designed lighting for Red Stitch Actors' Theatre, Melbourne Theatre Company, Na Djinang Circus and Pony Cam and collaborated with countless artists across the independent sector. She has experience designing for theatre, circus, musical theatre and experimental performance.

She began her theatre training at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts before completing a Bachelor’s degree in production at the Victorian College of the Arts (2019). She majored in performance technology, focusing on lighting design with an interest in heritage technology and automation. As a student she attended World Stage Design 2017 (Taipei) and the 2019 Prague Quadrennial.

In 2022, Harrie was the Malthouse Besen Placement in lighting, seconding with Paul Jackson and Amelia Lever Davidson.

She works as the production manager for Na Djinang Circus, helping bring their repertoire of shows to audiences across the country.

A strong interest in history and popular culture informs her research led approach to design. Harrie is a keen collaborator and proud to be counted amongst the growing number of women in her field.
